Second in a series of Christmas ornaments by the NC Division United Daughters of the Confederacy. The Boy Soldier of the Confederacy (also known as Silent Sam) stood on the campus of UNC-Chapel Hill for more than 100 years until it was torn down by a mob in August 2018.
